This coffee is the result of the hard work of multiple members of the Young Producer Program, each committed to making their way into this industry. For them, this coffee represents a breakthrough in specialty coffee processing and a learning experience. Cochadas begins with producers harvesting coffee in batches. As they harvest, the cherries are stored in barrels for a set time period. This means that at the end of the week, some cherries have been fermenting longer than others, creating a depth of acidity with notes of yellow fruit and strong cocoa.

Contact for DetailsThe Young Producer Program-Cochadas is currently working directly with six coffee farmers: Jose Vasquez, Yamile Arboleda, Daniel Rendon, Ramon Marulanda, Monica Andrea Castaño, and Juan Camilo Salazar. We selected them for this project due to their commitment to the Young Producer Program and their lower production capabilities, which at times do not meet the set demand. This is why we formed a community lot. Our goal is to achieve a highly controlled blend that excels, and we are very proud of the results.
