A Natural Process with an EA Decaffeination.

01. Harvesting

The cherries arrive at the farm, where they are floated to remove defects before being depulped.

02. Processing

The cherries are left in open tanks for 120 hours.

03. Drying Phase

They are dried in sun bed driers and milled, the sent to Descafecol for decaffeination using the sugarcane ethyl acetate process (EA).

For Marlon, coffee has always been the economic foundation of his family. At 17, he wasn’t sure what path to follow, so he enrolled in a barismo course at SENA. There, he gained knowledge in brewing, green coffee evaluation, and sensory analysis, and began to realize that his family’s farm could have a different future.
