The Process

How this coffee was produced

Red Honey with a 120 hours in fermentation

Harvesting and Processing

After harvest, green and mid-ripe cherries are carefully selected and separated, then floated in water

Drying Phase

The cherries are added in open tanks for 120 hours, after that they get depulped and left in baskets for 12 hours of oxidation

Stabilization

They dried in sun-bed driers for 3 to 4 weeks until it reaches 11% moisture

Oscar has always known coffee. He was born on his family's farm in Sonsón, where he grew up alongside nine siblings surrounded by coffee trees and the rhythms of farm life. But life had other plans. When he got married, his wife, an engineer, found an opportunity to build her career in Medellín.
